Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 level tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1 1/2 c. crushed pineapple (juice and pulp)
  • 1/2 c. melted butter

Instructions

  1. Sift the first 7 ingredients.
  2. Add the raisins, nuts, crushed pineapple (juice and pulp) and melted butter; mix well.
  3. Bake slowly in round cake pan (similar to angel food pan) at 325° for 1 hour and 20 to 30 minutes.
