Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb sausage
  • 4 c diced potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 3 c shredded cabbage
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 to 2 c water

Instructions

  1. Layer half of the sausage meat in the bottom of a baking dish.
  2. Add the diced raw potatoes over the meat.
  3. Spread the chopped onion evenly on top.
  4. Add the shredded cabbage over the onion.
  5. Season with 1 tablespoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper.
  6. Top with the remaining sausage meat.
  7. Pour 1 to 2 cups of water over the ingredients.
  8. Cover the dish and bake in a 350°F oven for 1 1/2 hours.
