Ingredients

  • 6 packets beef bouillon or 6 cubes
  • about 3 cups water
  • 2 bunches celery
  • 2 pounds green peppers
  • 2 pounds onions
  • 2 bunches garlic
  • 4 cans tomato paste
  • 4 cans tomato soup

Instructions

  1. Chop all vegetables: celery, green peppers, onions, and garlic.
  2. Add red pepper seed to taste.
  3. Cook celery for 30 minutes.
  4. Add onions and garlic, then cook for another 30 minutes.
  5. Add green peppers and salt, then cook for an additional 30 minutes.
  6. Keep just enough water so it doesn't catch on the bottom of the pan.
  7. Can the mixture into jars, process just long enough to seal.
  8. If serving all 8 quarts, cook and add 3 pounds of hamburger.
  9. Serve on hot dog rolls or hamburger buns.
  10. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on if desired.
