Ingredients

  • 2 lb. frozen hash browns, cubed
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 2 cups corn flakes, crushed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix all ingredients except the topping and grated cheddar, then transfer into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  3. Combine crushed corn flakes with melted butter and spread evenly over the potato mixture.
  4. Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese on top, if desired.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour until bubbly and golden.
