Ingredients

  • 2 c. apples, peeled and cut
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Pour sugar over apples and let stand for 20 minutes, then stir well.
  2. Add all other ingredients and beat until well mixed.
  3. Add nuts and raisins, if desired.
  4. Pour into a greased pan.
  5. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
