  • 5 cups peeled, sliced green apples
  • 1 1/3 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie shell

Instructions

  1. Place peeled and sliced apples in a 9-inch unbaked pie shell.
  2. Combine 1/3 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon to make cinnamon sugar mixture.
  3. Sprinkle all but 2 teaspoons of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the apples.
