Juicy chicken breasts topped with Swiss cheese and mushrooms, baked in a creamy mushroom soup and wine sauce, perfect for a comforting family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 8 chicken breasts
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 cup white dry wine
  • 2 cups fresh mushrooms sliced
  • 1 cup stuffing crushed fine
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons margarine melted

Instructions

  1. Arrange the chicken breasts in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Place a slice of Swiss cheese on each chicken breast; layer sliced mushrooms over the cheese.
  3. Combine cream of mushroom soup and white dry wine; pour over the mushrooms.
  4. Top with crushed stuffing and melted margarine.
  5. Bake in a 350°F oven for 45 minutes.
