Easy Gingerbread Bars

Ingredients

  • 1-1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. Land O Lakes soft butter
  • 1 egg
  • 3 Tbsp. molasses
  • 3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. ginger

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°. Combine first 4 ingredients in large mixing bow. Beat at medium speed until creamy. Add next 4 ingredients; reduce speed to low. Beat until well mixed. Press dough into ungreased 15 x 10 x 1 inch jelly roll pan. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 16 - 20 minutes. Cool completely. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutter or into bars. Makes approximately 48 bars.
