Ingredients

  • 6 boned and skinned chicken breast halves
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1/2 cup sherry

Instructions

  1. Pound the chicken breasts and place them in a large shallow baking dish.
  2. Saute the mushrooms in butter until tender.
  3. Mix the sauteed mushrooms with sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, and sherry.
  4. Pour the mushroom mixture over the chicken breasts.
  5. Bake uncovered in a 350°F oven for 1 hour.
