A delicious layered dessert combining chocolate cake, creamy vanilla pudding, and fresh bananas, topped with whipped cream. Perfect for family gatherings and sweet celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 recipe or mix of your favorite chocolate cake
  • 1 large box vanilla pudding
  • about 4 bananas

Instructions

  1. Bake the chocolate cake in a 13 x 9-inch pan as directed and allow to cool.
  2. Remove the cake from the pan, then split it lengthwise into two halves.
  3. Place the bottom half of the cake back into the pan.
  4. Layer banana slices on top of the bottom cake layer.
  5. Spread cooled vanilla pudding over the bananas.
  6. Place the top half of the cake on the pudding layer.
  7. Repeat the layers of banana slices and pudding on top of the second cake layer.
  8. Top the dessert with Cool Whip or whipped cream.
  9. Refrigerate for several hours before serving.
