Instructions
- Boil potatoes until tender.
- Peel and dice the potatoes while hot.
- Add chopped onion, salt, pepper, and chervil (if using).
- Combine vinegar, hot water, and 1/3 cup mayonnaise to make dressing.
- Add the dressing to the warm potatoes and allow to cool.
- Mix in chopped green pepper, chopped pimento, diced celery, and the remaining 1/2 cup mayonnaise.
- Chill before serving.
