Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 to 3 lb. broiler-fryer chicken, cut up
  • 1 envelope onion salad dressing
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 3/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Combine the onion salad dressing mix, softened butter, and paprika in a bowl.
  2. Spread the mixture over the chicken pieces.
  3. Roll the coated chicken pieces in the fine dry bread crumbs to coat evenly.
  4. Sprinkle additional paprika over the chicken for added color.
  5. Place the chicken pieces in a greased shallow baking pan, skin side up.
  6. Bake in a 375°F (190°C) oven for about 1 hour or until tender, without turning the pieces.
