Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 tablespoons butter-flavored Crisco
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • sliced peaches
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and crumble the first five ingredients together like a pie crust, then add the next two ingredients.
  2. Stir until well mixed with a fork; the dough will be sticky.
  3. Spread the dough in a greased 10 1/2 x 15-inch sheet pan.
  4. Arrange sliced peaches on top of the dough.
  5. Sprinkle with 1/2 to 3/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
  6. Bake until golden and cooked through, about 25 minutes.
