Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 4 loin pork chops, cut in half
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1 c. uncooked rice
  • 1/3 c. catsup
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 1/2 c. boiling water or broth

Instructions

  1. Pour oil into the bottom of a skillet and arrange the pork chops on it.
  2. Add chopped onion and chopped green pepper to the skillet.
  3. Sprinkle uncooked rice over the meat and vegetables.
  4. Add catsup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to the skillet.
  5. Pour boiling water or broth over all the ingredients in the skillet.
  6. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
  7. Allow the dish to stand for 15 minutes before serving.
