Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 2 16 oz. jars spaghetti sauce
  • 1 15 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 16 oz. box lasagna noodles, uncooked
  • 1 lb. ricotta cheese
  • 12 oz. grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Mix water, spaghetti sauce, and additional sauce in a bowl.
  2. Optionally, add cooked hamburger or sausage to the sauce mixture.
  3. Spread a thin layer of sauce on the bottom of the lasagna pan.
  4. Spread ricotta cheese on uncooked lasagna noodles and layer them in the pan.
  5. Sprinkle zucchini slices, grated mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese over the noodles.
  6. Repeat the layering process (usually three layers), ending with a layer of sauce on top.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for one hour.
