Ingredients

  • 11 slices bread, cubed
  • 1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 2 lb. sausage (hot and mild), browned
  • 8 eggs, beaten
  • 4 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 tsp. black pepper

Instructions

  1. Put cubed bread and Velveeta cheese in a large mixing bowl. Add browned sausage to the bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat eggs and add milk, prepared mustard, and black pepper. Pour this mixture over the bread, cheese, and sausage in the large bowl.
  3. Mix everything well and transfer into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  4. Cover the pan and refrigerate overnight.
  5. Uncover and bake at 350°F for 1 hour until set and golden.
