Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg

Instructions

  1. In a 3-quart mixing bowl, combine butter, sugar, and egg.
  2. Beat until fluffy and light.
  3. Stir in vanilla.
  4. Gradually stir in flour and nutmeg until well mixed.
  5. Force the mixture through a cookie press onto an ungreased, cold cookie sheet.
  6. Bake in the center of a 375°F oven for 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
  7. While still warm, dip the top of each cookie in the Egg Nog Glaze.
