Electric Skillet Supper

A hearty and comforting electric skillet meal featuring ground beef, vegetables, creamy soup, and melted cheese, perfect for a quick family dinner or casual gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 or 2 large potatoes
  • 1/4 head cabbage
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 6 or 8 slices American cheese

Instructions

  1. Pat about 3/4 of the ground beef in the bottom of the skillet; add cut-up vegetables in layers.
  2. Crumble the remaining ground beef on top of the vegetables.
  3. Spread cream of chicken soup over the mixture and place slices of American cheese on top.
  4. Start cooking on medium-high heat in the electric skillet at 325°F.
  5. Once the mixture starts steaming, turn the heat down to low (close steam vents) and cook for about 20 minutes longer, or until the vegetables are done.
