Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Mix butter or margarine and brown sugar in a large bowl until smooth and creamy.
  2. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Add flour mixture, eggs, and vanilla to sugar mixture and mix well.
  4. Add peanut butter and mix until combined.
  5. Place by teaspoonfuls several inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Flatten with a fork.
  7. Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
