- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
- Cut the butter into pats and mix with the flour mixture until it resembles fine bread crumbs.
- Add the whipping cream and stir until just combined.
- Turn the dough onto a floured breadboard.
- Knead lightly 3 or 4 times.
- Pat out to 1-inch thickness.
- Cut out rounds with a glass or biscuit cutter.
- Bake on an ungreased baking sheet at 375°F (190°C) for 12 to 15 minutes.
