- Cream 6 tablespoons butter and gradually add 1/4 cup sugar.
- Blend in 1 cup sifted flour.
- Divide the mixture into 12 small ungreased muffin tins.
- Press into bottoms and halfway up the sides of the cups.
- Bake in a moderate oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes.
