Ingredients

  • 6 Tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup sifted flour
  • 1/3 cup blanched almonds
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Cream 6 tablespoons butter and gradually add 1/4 cup sugar.
  2. Blend in 1 cup sifted flour.
  3. Divide the mixture into 12 small ungreased muffin tins.
  4. Press into bottoms and halfway up the sides of the cups.
  5. Bake in a moderate oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes.
