Ingredients

  • 2 lb. round steak
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 3/4 oz. pkg. brown gravy mix
  • 1 (10 oz.) can beef broth

Instructions

  1. Saute the steak in a skillet until browned.
  2. Pour off drippings. Add the chopped onion and cook over low heat for 40 minutes.
  3. Mix the flour and brown gravy mix with the beef broth to form a light paste.
  4. Pour this mixture all at once into the meat mixture.
  5. Add the mushrooms.
  6. Cook for an additional 15 minutes.
  7. Serve over noodles or rice.
