Tips & Substitutions

For extra flavor, consider marinating the veal strips in a mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic for a few hours before cooking. If you're out of beef stock, chicken stock or vegetable broth can work as a substitute. For a gluten-free option, use cornstarch instead of flour to thicken the sauce.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the Eszter Hazy over a bed of egg noodles or alongside creamy mashed potatoes for a hearty meal. A side of steamed green beans or a fresh salad adds a nice contrast. This dish also pairs beautifully with Yorkshire Pudding for a complete experience.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, gently warm in a skillet over low heat until heated through. Avoid microwaving, as it can make the veal tough.
