Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups unsifted flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 (28 oz.) jar ready to use mincemeat

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Generously grease and flour a 9 or 10-inch tube pan.
  3. Sift together the flour and baking soda; set aside.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and slightly beaten eggs.
  5. Add the sifted flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  6. Fold in the chopped walnuts and the jar of mincemeat.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared tube pan.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool before removing from the pan and serving.
