Ingredients

  • 1 cup diced ham or bacon
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 12 beaten eggs
  • 3 ounces mushrooms
  • 1 recipe Cheese Sauce
  • 4 teaspoons melted butter
  • 2 1/4 cups soft bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook diced ham or bacon and chopped onion in 3 tablespoons of butter until the onion is tender.
  2. Add beaten eggs and scramble just until set.
  3. Fold in sliced mushrooms and the prepared Cheese Sauce.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish and bake until heated through.
