Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon butter flavoring
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond flavoring
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon soda

Instructions

  1. Cream shortening, powdered sugar, egg, butter flavoring, and almond flavoring until smooth and creamy.
  2. Stir in the dry ingredients (flour and soda).
  3. Chill the dough for several hours.
  4. Roll the chilled dough into a circle to fit a 12 to 14-inch pizza pan.
  5. Bake at 175°F for 15 minutes or until edges turn brown.
  6. Remove from oven and cool.
