Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups All-Bran
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups flour

Instructions

  1. Cream margarine or butter and sugar well, then add molasses and buttermilk.
  2. Beat eggs and add to the mixture from step 1.
  3. Add the All-Bran to the mixture.
  4. Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt, then add to the mixture.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased bread pan.
  6. Bake in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 60 minutes or until done.
