- Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted margarine; press into the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
- Bake at 325°F for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese, sugar, and egg until well blended.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust.
- Sprinkle with flaked coconut, semi-sweet chocolate pieces, and sugar mixture.
- Press lightly into the surface of the filling.
- Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes, or until lightly browned.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
