Ingredients

  • 2 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. chopped figs or dates
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Add bread crumbs to hot milk and set aside to cool.
  2. When cool, add all remaining ingredients.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. Bake for 1 hour in a 350°F oven.
