A decadent five-layer dessert featuring crunchy pecan crust, creamy cheesecake, rich chocolate pudding, and fluffy whipped topping, perfect for parties and special gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 sticks oleo
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
  • 2 (8 oz.) cartons Cool Whip
  • 1 package chocolate pudding mix
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix 1/4 cup chopped pecans, oleo, and flour and press into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  2. Bake until golden brown.
  3. Allow to cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  4. Mix 2 cartons of Cool Whip and cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pecan crust.
  6. Prepare the chocolate pudding mix according to package directions and spread over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Top with the remaining carton of Cool Whip.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining pecans on top.
  9. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
