Ingredients

  • 1 lb. frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh rosemary
  • 1/2 onion, minced
  • 1/2 cup prepared pasta sauce
  • 2 zucchini, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 3 Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Place the thawed bread dough on a lightly floured surface.
  2. Flatten the dough slightly and spray with olive oil spray.
  3. Sprinkle with chopped rosemary and minced onion, then knead well to incorporate.
  4. Roll out the dough into a 9 x 6-inch rectangle.
  5. Place the dough on a 12 x 9-inch baking sheet.
  6. Press out the dough until it fills the pan.
  7. Spray the top of the bread with olive oil spray.
  8. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven and spread prepared pasta sauce over the top.
  10. Layer sliced zucchini, sliced mushrooms, and chopped red and green bell peppers over the sauce.
  11. Top with sliced Roma tomatoes and grated Parmesan cheese.
  12. Bake again for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until golden and cooked through.
