Ingredients

  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 c. buttermilk
  • 1/4 c. whole milk
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
  • blueberries (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and whisk lightly.
  2. Heat a greased griddle or skillet over medium heat.
  3. Pour batter onto the griddle in desired size.
  4. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm with toppings of choice, such as blueberries.
