- Cream butter and Crisco. Add sugar, then add eggs, one at a time. Blend after each egg. Sift flour twice and add alternately with milk. Add baking powder and lemon extract. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake in preheated oven at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
