Ingredients

  • ground chuck
  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1 large box sour cream
  • 1 large bag grated Cheddar cheese
  • 2 cans mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Cut the loaf of French bread lengthwise.
  2. Scrape out the inside of the bread, leaving an inch shell to form two canoes.
  3. Brown the ground chuck and drain excess fat.
  4. Add sour cream and canned mushrooms to the browned meat.
  5. Fill the bread shells with the meat mixture.
  6. Top with grated Cheddar cheese.
  7. Broil until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
