Instructions
- Combine sugar, melted butter, and eggs in a bowl.
- Whip the cream until soft peaks form.
- Crush the vanilla wafers into crumbs.
- Sprinkle half of the wafer crumbs in a greased 7 x 12-inch dish, then pour in the egg mixture over the crumbs.
- Spread thawed strawberries over the egg mixture, then fold in the whipped cream.
- Top with the remaining wafer crumbs and sprinkle with pecans.
- Chill the pudding for several hours or freeze it.
- If frozen, remove from freezer and let sit in the refrigerator for an hour before serving.
