Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 ounce chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 baked and cooled pie shell
  • whipped cream
  • nuts

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter; gradually add 3/4 cup of sugar, and cream well.
  2. Blend in 1 square (1 ounce) chocolate, melted and cooled.
  3. Add vanilla.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 5 minutes after each egg.
  5. Pour the mixture into the cooled pie shell.
  6. Top with whipped cream and nuts.
