Ingredients

  • 2 lb. beef stew meat
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. rosemary
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 1 Tbsp. flour

Instructions

  1. Saute beef stew meat in olive oil until golden brown.
  2. Sprinkle flour over the meat and stir to coat evenly.
  3. Chop onion, garlic, and bell pepper very finely.
  4. Add chopped vegetables, seasonings, and 1/2 cup of water to the pan.
  5. Place a lid on the stew pan and simmer for 2 hours until meat is tender.
  6. Optionally, add a package of mixed vegetables before serving.
