Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 cups chopped apple
  • 1 1/2 to 2 cups chopped pecans
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda

Instructions

  2. Beat well until mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the flour and baking soda.

  6. Grease and dust a Bundt pan with flour.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  8. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 1 1/2 hours or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
