Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 3 cups cubed apples

Instructions

  1. Let raisins soak in hot water for 10 to 15 minutes. Drain.
  2. Beat eggs; add sugar and oil.
  3. Sift all dry ingredients together.
  4. Add dry ingredients to egg mixture and combine.
  5. Stir in soaked raisins, nuts, and cubed apples.
  6. Pour batter into greased and floured pans.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 60 to 70 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
