Ingredients

  • 1 bunch broccoli, cut into flowerettes
  • 2 cans chicken broth
  • 5 plum tomatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 pound pasta

Instructions

  1. Melt butter and oil in a large pan.
  2. Brown the garlic in the butter and oil.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes and chicken broth to the pan.
  4. Cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.
  5. Cook the pasta separately until al dente.
  6. Add broccoli to the sauce during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
  7. Mix the cooked pasta with the sauce and serve.
