Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 medium sliced onion
  • cooking fat or oil
  • garlic powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp sour cream
  • 1 can mushroom soup

Instructions

  1. Mix egg and milk in a bowl.
  2. Dip the rabbit well in the egg and milk mixture.
  3. Coat the rabbit with flour, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the rabbit in a hot skillet with hot fat or oil.
  5. Sprinkle the onion slices over the rabbit.
  6. Sprinkle garlic powder on all sides of the rabbit as it browns.
  7. Brown the rabbit well on all sides.
  8. Remove the rabbit from the skillet and place it in an oven dish or pan.
  9. Drain the oil from the skillet and return it to heat.
  10. Add 2 tablespoons of sour cream to the skillet and stir until browned.
  11. Add the mushroom soup to the sour cream in the skillet and blend well.
  12. Pour the mushroom and sour cream mixture over the rabbit, coating it well.
  13. Cover the dish and place it in a hot oven at 325°F for 1 1/2 hours.
  14. Serve and enjoy.
