Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lb. flounder fillet
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup butter or oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 teaspoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Roll the flounder fillet in flour until well coated.
  2. Put butter or oil in a skillet and heat over low flame.
  3. Add the floured fillets to the skillet.
  4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and cook for 10 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Remove the fillets from the pan and sprinkle with lemon juice before serving.
