Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground round beef
  • 1/2 lb. lean ground pork
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 small onion, grated and fried
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix ground round beef, ground pork, grated fried onion, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Stir in the milk until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls.
  5. Brown the meatballs in butter in a skillet.
  6. Add a little hot water while simmering until they are cooked through.
  7. Serve with brown gravy made from the drippings.
