A quick and comforting microwave fruit cobbler combining sweet apples and strawberries with a crunchy oat topping, perfect for a warm dessert or snack for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 (20 oz.) can apples, drained
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine

Instructions

  1. Combine 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and 1 tablespoon of flour in a microwave-safe casserole.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Add drained apples and frozen strawberries to the mixture. Mix well.
  4. Microwave on High for 5 to 7 minutes, or until heated through.
  5. In a medium bowl, combine oats, remaining brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon.
  6. Mix well and stir in butter or margarine until crumbly.
  7. Spread the crumb mixture over the fruit in the casserole.
  8. Microwave on High for an additional 4 minutes.
  9. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
  10. Serve plain or with ice cream or yogurt as desired.
