- Mix sugar and oil together.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Add flour and milk alternately in two additions, beginning and ending with flour.
- Add vanilla, salt, baking soda, nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, cooked prunes, and prune juice. Mix well.
- Prepare a Bundt pan and pour the batter into it.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely, then ice with your favorite chocolate frosting.
