Fruitcake Drops
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup golden raisin
- 1/2 cup currants or 1/2 cup raisins ⓘ
- 2 cups mixed candied fruit, cut ⓘ
- 1 cup pecans or 1 cup walnuts, chopped ⓘ
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour ⓘ
- 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, softened ⓘ
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar ⓘ
- 2 eggs ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon vanilla ⓘ
- 2 teaspoons brandy flavoring ⓘ
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon salt ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg ⓘ
Instructions
- Measure golden raisins, currants, candied fruit, pecans and 1/2 cup flour into bowl. Stir well to coat. Set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar together. Beat in eggs 1 at a time. Add vanilla and brandy flavoring.
- Stir 1 cup flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg together and add.
- Mix in fruit. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.
- Bake in 325 F oven for 15-20 minutes.
