Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. oil
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. pie filling
  • crushed walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients into a bowl.
  2. Pour half of the batter into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Add 1 cup of pie filling over the batter.
  4. Pour the remaining batter over the pie filling.
  5. Sprinkle with crushed walnuts if desired.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
  7. Cool in the pan before serving.
