Ingredients

  • 1 lb. shrimp (medium)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 tsp. basil
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 c. select olive oil

Instructions

  1. De-shell the shrimp and butterfly them.
  2. Dry the shrimp thoroughly.
  3. Heat the butter, olive oil, garlic, salt, basil, and oregano in a frying pan until very hot.
  4. Add the shrimp to the hot pan.
  5. Stir constantly and cook for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  6. Serve immediately with French roll and wine.
