Tips & Substitutions

For a richer flavor, consider adding a splash of lemon juice or a pinch of saffron to the broth. If you don't have fresh fish, frozen fillets work well too; just ensure they're fully thawed before cooking. For a vegetarian version, substitute the seafood with hearty vegetables like zucchini and mushrooms. If you want a spicier kick, include some diced jalapeños.

Serving Suggestions

Serve Roy's Favorite Chiapino hot, garnished with fresh parsley and crusty bread for dipping. A side salad, such as a Salmon And Vegetable Salad, complements it well. For a complete meal, pair with a chilled white wine or a light red like Pinot Noir to enhance the seafood flavors.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, gently warm on the stovetop over low heat, adding a splash of water or broth to maintain moisture. Avoid microwaving as it can overcook the seafood and alter the texture.
