Ingredients

  • 2 loaves frozen white bread dough
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 small onion
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Cut or snip off pieces of the dough about the size of a walnut and place half in a greased 10-inch Bundt pan.
  2. Combine the melted butter with dried basil, chopped parsley, chopped onion, minced garlic, and salt.
  3. Pour half of this butter mixture over the dough in the pan.
  4. Add the remaining dough pieces and drizzle the rest of the butter mixture over the top.
  5. Cover and let rise until double in size, about 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
  6. Bake at 375°F for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10 to 15 minutes before removing.
